About

Fostering exploration, curiosity, and growth

ABOUT ME I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor practicing in Williston, Vermont. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Saint Michael's College. Outside of work, I create stained glass art (though on a bit of a hiatus since the birth of my son), love going on walks around town with my family, enjoy a nice round of disc golf, and can often be found laughing loudly with friends and family. HOW I WORK I primarily work with parents and caregivers as well as family units and individuals, focusing on mental health struggles and relationships. It is my belief that all relationships have patterns of connection. Some relational patterns promote trust, respect, and openness, and other patterns may contribute to relational pain and conflict. It is my hope to provide areas of exploration and reflection in our sessions to both support understanding of current issues and also unearth and enhance collaboration, connection, communication. My style of therapy can be described as person-centered and relationally-focused. I recognize the importance of diverse perspectives, abilities, and life experiences, and actively strive to incorporate anti-oppressive principles and practices daily. I use a strength-based approach to bring forth each individual’s innate creativity, resilience, and insight. I may be a good fit if you are looking to explore and understand your relationships - whether that be within family relationships or friendships - and hope to feel more connected, empowered, and at ease in your relationships. Please note: though I hope to one day increase my skillset to include support for romantic partners looking for relationship counseling, currently I do not provide this service.
